MEET THE FOUNDERHi, I’m Khalilah Filmore. I’m a nurse, a caregiver, and someone who has been in the quiet moments after the doctor walks out.Decode My Care™ was created for those moments. The ones where the visit is over, the room is quiet, and the questions are just beginning.I have often been the one families turn to after the medical team leaves. I have also been the family member sitting in that silence myself. I know what it feels like to walk away confused, overwhelmed, and still trying to be strong.My faith shapes how I show up. I believe that care is sacred, and so is understanding. I built this with compassion for all people, rooted in a calling to serve.I hold a nursing license and a degree in health administration. But more than that, I hold space for families, for caregivers, and for the teams trying to support them.This tool is one way I live out that mission. To offer peace. To make things clearer.
